Drawing and Painting Winter 2025

Following on from Autumn 2024 with more mosaics and new horizons! Every quarter I'm keeping record of visual creations to keep me creating.

More Mosaics / Collages

Last time I found something satisfying with Mosaics and I've continued that. I call them mosaics but really they're collages.

. The first was inspired by a visit to a stained glass museum here in Porto.

I really like the effect of dividing up the areas of collage pieces. I'll experiment with some other colours and dividers.

The second one was done over xmas while staying in England. This is work near the end, using dominoes to secure the glue!

An Art Lesson

Next is one from attending a class in Porto. It's meant to be in a van-gogh style. It was good to get guidance from someone else and try a different style.

And still sketching and drawing on a smaller scale with my group in Porto.

As I'm the organiser it's not the ideal place to focus for me. So often I'm playing more with colours and styles.

It's a good place to play. Like these swirls!

And one inspired by the art style of Electric Bastionland (an RPG).

Hoping for nicer weather soon so we can return to the outside!
